Eat Local Month is one of the most loved times of year in the Scenic Rim, celebrating the growers, farmers, makers and small businesses that help make South East Queensland such a special place to live, visit and explore.
From 29 May to 30 June 2026, visitors from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and beyond will head to the region for farm experiences, long lunches, markets and local food discoveries as part of Eat Local Month’s 15th year.
At My Country Escape in Canungra, we are proud to celebrate the incredible local producers and artisan makers who bring the flavours of our region to life. Our shelves are filled with locally produced preserves, seasonings, snacks, honey, sweets and gourmet pantry favourites that reflect the heart of the Scenic Rim and wider South East Queensland community.
We believe supporting local matters. Behind every jar, bottle and handcrafted product is a small business, farming family or passionate producer working hard to create quality goods with care and authenticity.
You’ll also find us at the Winter Harvest Festival on Saturday 27 June 2026 in Kalbar, where we’ll be representing some of our favourite local ranges and celebrating the region alongside fellow Scenic Rim businesses and producers.
