My Country Escape complies with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cwlth) and the Electronic Transactions Act 2001 to support the legitimate and authentic use of electronic transfers between customers and My Country Escape.
Returns policy
My Country Escape adheres to Australian Consumer law and Queensland Government guidance on
refunds. My Country Escape reserves the right to cancel an online order if it is unable to dispatch
purchased goods or services in return for a refund or store credit.
Refunds are not a right of consumers for instances of:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size
My Country Escape guarantees that goods will be:
- Of acceptable quality
- Fit for their specific purpose
- Match their description
Remedies
You can seek a remedy from My Country Escape if the products purchased do not meet these
guarantees. The remedy might be a refund, repair, replacement or compensation for damage and loss.
My Country Escapes reserves their right to replace or repair goods prior in the first instance. My
Country Escape may issue a store credit if a direct replacement is not available.
Refund method
My Country Escape will refund items in the same method as payment unless a store credit is
requested.
Refund conditions
You are responsible for returning a product if it can be posted or easily returned. You are entitled to
recover reasonable postage costs if the product is confirmed to have a problem.
Returned goods must be unused, have original tags and be accompanied by proof of purchase.
