Sulphur-crested Cockatoo Hook
The Sulphur-crested cockatoo is a beautiful white parrot with a yellow crest of feathers on its head. The decorative hooks from Wildlife Garden are hand-carved and hand-painted wooden sculptures attached to a metal hook.
The curious, talkative, and intelligent sulphur-crested cockatoo is probably the most well-known cockatoo. It is also one of the loudest Australian birds and lives in large colonies of up to a hundred individuals. Found in both Tasmania and eastern and northern Australia, they prefer to nest in tree hollows or cliff crevices where they lay 2-3 eggs. The chicks hatch after four weeks and are ready to fly after 70 days.
