Grow Fresh Dill at Home

Grow your own fresh, aromatic herbs with The Little Veggie Patch Co Organic Dill Seeds. Dill is a versatile annual herb grown for both its feathery green leaves and flavourful dried seeds, making it a rewarding addition to veggie patches, herb gardens and pots.

Suitable for both cool and warm-season planting, dill prefers to establish outside the most extreme periods of heat and cold. Once growing, fresh dill is a beautiful addition to home cooking and pairs particularly well with potatoes, salads, pickles, seafood, sauces and dressings.

Whether you're starting a kitchen garden, adding herbs to your veggie patch or looking for a practical gift for a keen gardener, these organic dill seeds make growing from seed easy and rewarding.

Growing Dill

Dill grows best in fertile, free-draining soil enriched with plenty of organic matter. A couple of weeks before planting, prepare garden beds with compost and well-rotted animal manure.

When growing dill in pots, choose a good-quality potting mix or free-draining soil enriched with compost.

Dill can be prone to bolting in hot conditions, so keep plants well hydrated and provide protection from intense direct sun during warmer weather.
